Ever get asked, what advice would you give to your 20 year old self? Here's mine. It's all about learning in the end. Best thing you can hope to continuously do. Even when you fail, you're learning. Failures refine you, they don't define you (as long as you're learning.)

For everyone out there who wants and needs career growth and expansion, make sure you're factoring these 3 roles as part of that equation. They are invaluable! I outlined what each is, what value it brings, and how to engage with one and when. There's a ton of benefit from and with these relationships. Last Thursday, I said goodbye to an esteemed leader. A giant, in more ways than one. While he wasn't perfect, no leader ever is. Still, he had so many noble characteristics, so many qualities to admire, amongst them was a BIG one. Loyalty. He wasn't the first, and he won't be the last to exemplify this quality. Ever wonder why everyone fixates on the Golden rule, and applying it to everyday life? The Golden rule, stemming from the bible teaches “Do unto others as you’d have done to you”, essentially treat everyone as you would want to be treated. The assumption here is that everyone wants to be treated well, and if you treat everyone how you want to be treated, then you’re golden. Right? Not so much. I’ve learned that when it comes to people, it’s the Platinum rule that trumps the Golden rule….
