A Revamp of the Service Command Center for a Forward-Thinking, Customer-Centric Mind-Set!
Celebrated the grand opening of the SCC- Service Command Center on August 17, 2017. So refreshing to see a company take pride in its facilities and services the way we do! This newly renovated space is the home of the Service Desk, core Service Leadership team, the “Situation Room” and serves as the heartbeat of IT. The SCC is equipped with 42 workstations, dual monitors, ACD phones, 6 large Overhead 70 inch screens for dashboard monitoring, and a full video-conference enabled meeting room with 2 white board walls for collaboration. It is a 24x7 operation, managing daily activities across 15+ campuses, 300+ unique locations, and 30,000 company associates in the Bronx and Westchester area. This puts service the customer front and center in everything IT does, from full campus monitoring, to call handling, to resolving major outages impacting patient care, medical research or student services.
